The Dovetail Building is a next generation office scheme totalling around 465,000 sq ft across 23 storeys, with panoramic City, Spitalfields and Shoreditch views. Designed by Simon Allford of AHMM, the building tackles head on the twin challenges posed by the strive for Net Zero Carbon and the necessary thrive of the post-pandemic workplace.

The Dovetail Building’s ambitious carbon targets have probed how net zero carbon can really be achieved, not just by looking green, but through intelligent ‘lean’ design and an interrogation of all the structural, mechanical and facade options, including an extensive mapping of all the respective supply chains. The embodied and operational energy targets set out above will result in the developer-owner and future resident companies working together in partnership to ensure smart ways of working.

The hyper-connected public transport links at nearby Liverpool Street Station will ensure that The Dovetail Building and its wider sub-market remains a vital commercial cluster with Financial, Tech, Insurance and Legal businesses all demanding their next generation buildings.
