Michael Marks

Michael is Brockton’s Finance Director and responsible for all financial aspects of the group’s strategy, including oversight and control of the accounting function, all financial reporting processes and outputs and ensuring that the group financial systems are robust and support future growth.

Michael joined Brockton Capital in 2012. Prior to joining, he was the Group Financial Controller at Matrix Group, a privately held financial services firm with AUM of over £4 billion. During his 3 years at Matrix Group, Michael was responsible for the consolidated corporate accounts, budgeting, audit, tax computations, and regulatory compliance. Before joining Matrix Group, Michael worked for 7 years for the accountancy firm MGR where his main clients included European REITs, UK Property Unit Trusts, and Property SPVs.

Michael holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from The University of Nottingham and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
